The Benevolent Society for Disabled provides constant help to many needy disabled children living in harsh life condition along the Gaza Strip. Through this permanent aid, those children can survive with nutritious food, better medical care and basic needs. Furthermore, the Benevolent Society for Disabled ensures that they go to school where they start to build a good foundation for a better future despite their disability. For an orphan like Shaima, Benevolent Society for Disabled's aid is the only income source to sustain a proper life. Shaima lives with her widow mother and five siblings in an owned house in Rafah city, southern Gaza. Shaima suffers from seizures accompanied by loss of consciousness; she receives expensive medications that her family cannot afford its cost. Shaima's health condition affects her performance at school, she struggles at all school subjects. Last year, she failed the final exams and she repeats it again this year. The Benevolent Society for Disabled's aid enables Shaima and her poor family to survive and meet their daily life needs. Moreover, Shaima is given the right resource to live decently with covering her basic needs and education requirements including clothes, school uniform and stationery.
