The new life conditions caused by COVID-19 and the measures taken to contain the pandemic have left negative effects on mental health and social relations between Gaza citizens in light of the miserable economic and social conditions that the Gaza Strip faces as a result of the imposed siege. Some studies have shown a clear increase in the levels of anxiety and tension among citizens, in addition to the high rates of family and community violence, and high crime rates, especially social problems between neighbors and within extended families. The Gaza Strip, which is besieged for nearly 14 years, is suffering from a catastrophic situation, and it became more tragic during the pandemic that affected all segments of society, especially women, children and groups.
